Your RI Weather Today – August 5, 2021 – Jack Donnelly
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A low pressure system keeps us under a wet blanket through early afternoon, rain heavy at times with an embedded lightning strike or two, though chances of tstms are low. We’ll remain in the clouds through evening before some moonlight breaks through the overcast overnight. Morning lows in the mid 60’s rise only to around 70 in the afternoon with a light wind shifting slightly from northeasterly to northwesterly.
