Your RI Weather Today – August 29, 2021 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
The return flow across the front that has been held at bay by the high pressure area will not be strong enough to bring showers that will be developing along the frontal system all the way to us, so we’ll have another bout of dry low level air with increasing cloud cover through the afternoon with a high in the upper 70’s from morning lows in the low 60’s.
Winds back off somewhat as we sit in the equilibrium between High and Low pressure.
