Your RI Weather Today – April 21, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Another cold front moves through during the afternoon with high winds most of the day and rain beginning around 5 pm. Some gusts could be dangerously high, so if it isn’t anchored down, it’ll be tipped and moved. The strong southerly winds will likely kill any real chance for thunderstorms, so lightning should not be an issue. Winds will shift in the evening from southerly to northwesterly and still be on the high side. Morning lows in the low 50’s and afternoon highs in the mid 60’s.
