Bay View Class of 2026: 100% Graduation, $7M in Scholarships
100% Graduation Rate & Graduates Earn Over $7 Million in Scholarships
Riverside, Rhode Island – St. Mary Academy – Bay View announced that the Class of 2026 has achieved a 100% graduation and matriculation rates, marking the dedication, resilience, and excellence of students, faculty, staff, and families. The graduating class of 36 students collected 228 college acceptances and more than $7 million in merit scholarships and grants from colleges and universities across the country.
“This graduating class embodies everything that makes Bay View exceptional,” said President & Head of School, Amy Gravell ’93. “Year after year, 100% graduation is not an achievement we celebrate because it surprises us, it is a hallmark of who we are. What moves me is how these young women crossed that stage: having earned over $7 million in scholarships, competed on fields, performed on stages, and led in service. They have lived our Mercy values fully. As an alumna myself, I could not be more proud. The Class of 2026 is ready to shape the world, and Bay View will be cheering them on.”
One hundred percent of graduates were involved in at least one club or extracurricular activity.
Over 80% held part-time employment during their academic career, demonstrating exceptional balance between academics and real-world responsibility.

Mia Forbes, Valedictorian, is from East Greenwich and joined Bay View as a junior. An active and engaged member of the school community and a strong contributor to its athletic teams, Mia will attend Brown University, where she plans to study biology with an interest in medicine.
