Visit with Santa at Carousel Village – Friday, Nov. 29th

Ring in some holiday cheer with Santa Claus himself at Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village. Visits with Santa are available to each child (ages 12 and under) for just $5 per visit, and families should plan to bring their own camera to snap photos, as photographers will not be present. Enjoy a cup of milk courtesy of Munroe Dairy (while supplies last), then play the day away in the outdoor Hasbro Boundless Playground.

The carousel and train will be open for guests to enjoy, though these are not included with admission and can be purchased at their regular rates. Do note that the train is a weather-permitting feature and may close during inclement weather.

Visits take place daily from Friday, November 29 to Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm & 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

Santa at Shamrock Home Loans, Rumford – Saturday, Nov. 30th

Children of all ages can meet Santa Claus on Saturday, November 30, Shamrock Home Loans, 75 Newman Ave., Rumford, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

This free event is co-sponsored by Debbie Parziale of Shamrock Home Loans in conjunction with North Smithfield-based Total Asset Solutions and Finest Real Estate and Property Management.

In addition to meeting Santa and receiving a free photo with him, there will be light refreshments and other activities planned. Financial and in-kind donations are also being accepted at this event.

Event Co-Sponsor Ilanna Ball, owner of Finest Real Estate and Property Management, said the holidays are not only a time of reflection, but also assisting the less fortunate. Ball is also sponsoring her Third annual Christmas Eve Dinner in Woonsocket. Donations collected from meeting Santa will benefit that upcoming event, she added.

“Giving should not be confined to just the holiday season; it should be done year-round,” said Ball who spends some of her time feeding the Blackstone Valley homeless. “We enjoy seeing the joy on children’s faces when they meet Santa and the smiles of people who are getting something to eat or keep them warm.”

Debbie Parziale, NMLS #705781, Loan Officer at Shamrock Home Loans, said giving back to the community is one point the company strives to achieve. She added that the company looks for opportunities to help others throughout the season.

“We are a family-based organization where the president and each employee truly understand what it means to be part of the community,” Parziale said.
