Ron & Jen’s Great Escape – 6-15-2022 – Ron St. Pierre and Jen Brien
by Ron St. Pierre and Jen Brien, commentary
Sleight of Hand
DNC member tells CNN Biden shouldn’t run in 2024, says voters are looking for “change candidate”.
That RIGHT THERE is a headline from a major media outlet as I write this. Wow. Just WOW!
It’s pretty shocking that people in the President’s family (as well as MANY Independents AND Republicans) believe that President Joe Biden ain’t getting it done. When the people who were rooting for you are now turning on you, it’s obvious you’re a lousy fit. My question is, who in their right mind ever thought sleepy Joe Biden was the “guy” ?! I mean, no offense, but Biden is the uncle at the Christmas gathering you try to avoid because he’s creepy and smells your neck when he pulls you in for that embrace. Gross.
That aside, Joe Biden is running the country into the ground – or is he? It’s not fashionable to bring this stuff up, GOD FORBID you offend somebody, but we all think it, have talked about it, and wonder, who the hell IS running this country anyway? It’s not Joe Biden, it just is not. Remember when Biden was saying things like “THEY told me not to talk to the press today”, or, “THEY told me I’m not supposed to answer THAT QUESTION,” or, “THEY told me I have to stay on script”…. Well, Sir… Who the HELL ARE “THEY”? Obama himself said on a late night show in 2020, “If I had a front man or woman who had an earpiece in and I could deliver the lines from my basement, I’d be fine with that”.
Was he hiding in plain sight!? Is he telling us what we think we know to be true?! That George Soros and his money are working with Obama behind the scenes while Joe Biden plays “front man” for this wildly unpopular “let’s jam it down their throats”” agenda?! Yep, I think so… and why wouldn’t I think that? Susan Rice and Valerie Jarrett are still in the game and were VERY IMPORTANT to the Obama administration. Looks like Obama got his 3rd term, and if you don’t believe me wait until the Roe vs. Wade decision is released. Obama will be front and center making a statement before the President. Why? Because it’s a pivotal moment in the evolution of our culture and “THEY” want to make sure the messaging is on point. Sleepy Joe can’t deliver. They know it.
PS. I wonder why the left is so hellbent on indoctrination of gay culture and trans culture on the children of this nation. I do have ideas. Yes I do. Suffice it to say things are not always as they appear. Joan Rivers knew that. She sure as hell knew it.
Till next time my friends – Jen
A DROP IN THE BUCKET
I was born and raised in Pawtucket. I lived as a child in Woodlawn and as a teenager and an adult in Darlington. I attended St. Raymond and St. Leo the Great Catholic grade schools. I graduated from St. Raphael Academy. Heck, somehow I was even elected to the the City of Pawtucket Hall of Fame. I was a Pawtucket Indians season ticket holder when the Eastern League team played at McCoy Stadium in the mid to late 60’s. PawSox owner, Ben Mondor, was a friend as were his two righthand men, Mike Tamburro and the late Lou Schwecheimer. I proudly threw out the ceremonial first pitch on multiple occasions (happy to say I never bounced it up there ONCE!). It’s safe to say “The Bucket” runs deep in my veins. This week I visited the same dermatologist who has been my guy for 50 years at his School Street office. After leaving my appointment and heading to get to 95 South for my journey back home to Chez St. Pierre in E-G, I passed by the dormant, dirty and eerie Memorial Hospital building. I hooked around that slumbering structure to have a look at McCoy Stadium sitting lonely, it’s 50-year tenant having left for Worcester thanks to an asleep-at-the-wheel House Speaker and Governor. Now, a proposed minor league soccer development featuring a stadium, shops, apartments and a river walk to bring the area along the Seekonk River is on life support. It’s developers, Fortuitous Partners, is looking for an additional $30 million as inflation has sent costs soaring. As I write this, the state Commerce Corporation has a scheduled meeting that Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien’s calling a do or die moment. I know the $ isn’t in the recently banged out state budget. Come on, let’s get everyone in a room and come up with something creative. The Bucket’s on life support. – Ron
