By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday, March 7, 2020
An additional burst of high pressure brings excessively dry and blustery conditions overnight and through the day. Lots of sun and temps both high and low in the normal early March range, morning lows in the mid and upper 20’s and afternoon highs in the mid and upper 40’s. Overnight winds may gust in excess of 30 mph, slowing slightly during the day but remaining up in the 20-30 mph range.
Sunday 3/8/20:

Despite some daytime cloud cover moving through with a passing weak upper level trough, Sunday should be the better half of this early March weekend, less windy and much warmer, afternoon highs in the upper 50’s pushing 60 in some locations, up from a morning low in the upper 20’s.Winds will have calmed down significantly as well, westerly winds a hardly noticeable 5-10 mph.
