RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, Aug. 8/9, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 8/8/20:
A ripple of low pressure rides along an offshore frontal boundary and may kick off a shower or two south of the city around sunrise, ending quickly if it happens. We’ll then be treated with lots of sun and fairly dry air with a low in the mid and upper 60’s and a high in the low 80’s with a light southeasterly breeze.
Sunday 8/9/20:
High pressure builds in for a decent morning, maybe some light mist over coastal areas, a low temp in the mid 60’s. Expect an afternoon high in the mid 80’s with cumulus developing over a southwesterly breeze.
