RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Sat/Sun, Aug. 15/16, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 8/15/20:
High pressure brings cooler air into the area from the north, afternoon highs noticeably cooler in the mid 70’s up from the mid 60’s. Winds will be gusty at times out of the northeast, chilling the air a bit more.
Sunday 8/16/20:

A bit more in the way of cloud cover than Saturday as low pressure rolls up through the mid Atlantic states and may even force a light shower or two in the afternoon, widely scattered at best, so don’t count on it. Afternoon highs will remain in the mid and upper 70’s up from a morning low in the mid 60’s with a generally southeasterly breeze.
