RI Weekend Weather Wrap – Aug 1/2, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Saturday 8/1/20:
High pressure with decently dry air settles in for the first half of the weekend. Highs in the upper 80’s from a low in the upper 60’s with a light southerly breeze and hardly any clouds, let alone rain in sight. A winner.
Sunday 8/2/20:

A warm front moves into the northeastern US during the day, ahead of which cloud cover increases in the afternoon with the chance for light showers later in the evening. Morning lows in the low 70’s rise only to the low 80’s with the cloud cover, accompanied by a decent southeasterly breeze.
