Misty morning
RI Weather Today, Wednesday 8/14/19:
By Jack Donnelly
Some lingering mist that should break up and evaporate after sunrise, and accompany a morning low in the upper 60’s. Humidity will remain through early afternoon, as some drier air will drop down from the north which will help break up some of the afternoon cloud cover, but there is not a great push from high pressure to change air masses.
We’ll see a high in the upper 70’s under broken yet non-threatening stratocumulus clouds with northeasterly breezes 5-10 mph. As dewpoints continue to lower through evening, air temps will fall as well, and some overnight mist and light fog is possible over non-urban areas.
