RI Weather Today – Wed, Jan. 27, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Some lingering wraparound snow will continue into the morning before ending before noon, squeezing another inch or two out of the event, with totals in the Providence area to 4 inches. We should then have a mostly cloudy afternoon with highs in the upper 30’s from morning lows around 32 and a light northerly breeze. The system is a slow mover, and there may yet be the outside chance for an extra bout of flurries or light snow during the day, so be on the lookout for a slick road surface or two.
