RI Weather Today, Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
We eek out another nice and sunny day before another frontal system comes through Wednesday.
Early morning lows will get down the the upper 30’s while dewpoints sink to the mid 30’s, so there may be some windshield scraping to do. Southwest winds will increase during the afternoon and we’ll get some gusts upwards of 20 mph kicking up some leftover leaf debris. Some high cirrus and maybe a few fair weather cumulus will roll in as a weak cold front approaches from the northwest. It’s a moisture starved cold front, so we’re not expecting any precipitation with its’ passage. Afternoon highs top out in the upper 50’s, a welcome few degrees above normal this close to Thanksgiving.
