RI Weather Today, Tuesday 2/25/20:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
One area of low pressure slippin’ out to sea mainly to our south will kick back some light rain in the early morning, while another area of low pressure well to our southwest will trigger some additional light rain later in the day with bouts of scattered cloud cover in between. We’ll be favored with continued late February warmth, afternoon highs expected to hover in the mid 50’s after morning lows in the upper 30’s. A light southerly breeze and the morning cloud cover/rain should prevent any significant windshield frost, saving a minute or two on commute time.
