RI Weather Today, Tuesday 12/3/19:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
The first Winter storm of the season wraps up with light snow and pockets of moderate snow in parts of southern New England on the back side of the main area of low pressure. We’re expecting an additional 2-4 inches of less dense snow than we had yesterday. North-northwesterly winds gusting to 30 mph will be driving the snow partly sideways into your faces until 2 or 3pm when the last flakes are yanked from the clouds. High temps will top out in the mid 30’s while the morning and late evening will compete for the lowest temp of the day, somewhere in the upper 20’s.
