RI Weather Today, Thursday, Thanksgiving 7/28/19
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
As the tail end of the low pressure system that gave us some surprise thunderstorms yesterday finishes moving through the area, showers will come to an end early in the morning. Cloud cover will thin and break, and high pressure will press in, meaning some high winds gusting upwards of 30 mph, so hold onto your hats! Passing attacks for local football games will be challenging as well.
Temperatures will maintain a normal range, although another backwards timing of the high and the low again, high in the upper 40’s in the morning and lows in the upper 30’s in the evening.
Decent football weather, and eating weather also.
Happy Thanksgiving!
