RI Weather Today, Thursday 3/26/20
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
An in between kind of a thing….
Low pressure heading off to the cold gray Atlantic while another cold front develops over Ontario, Canada sweeps east. We benefit by sitting pretty in the high pressure that sneaks in and dries things out for a time and allows for the Sun to appear and dominate most of the day. Cool northerly breezes prevail however, as air swings around the Atlantic-bound low and adds a bit of a chill, but I think the Suns warmth wins this fight, afternoon highs headed for the low 50’s up from the mid 30’s.
