RI Weather Today, Thursday 3/19/20:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A low pressure system will quickly move through the area mostly to our south with rain likely from the predawn hours through the afternoon, embedded with pockets of heavier rain at times before clearing out and allowing for partly moonlit skies opening up by evening. We’ll have a tight temperature range given the rain and cloud cover, morning lows in the low 40’s rising to only the upper 40’s during the afternoon as light to moderate easterly breezes shift to northerly.
