RI Weather Today, Thursday 2/27/20:
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Low pressure system finally moves through with light to moderate rain ending early to mid-morning, but winds will remain strong and blustery, generally out of the southwest and moving upwards of 30 mph through the afternoon. Cloud cover eventually breaks up with some late afternoon/early evening sun saying goodbye on its way down to the horizon. Still warmer than normal temps expected, afternoon high striving for 50 from a wet and raw morning low in the low 40’s.
