RI Weather Today – Sept. 8, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Mostly clear skies and light winds will allow for a good deal of cooling overnight, resulting in some patchy fog across the area, particularly along the coast and bayside locations. Expect misty morning lows in the mid 60’s before partial clearing and warming to afternoon highs around 80, with dew points in the mid 60’s, so a bit more humid than we’ve gotten used to over these last days. No strong weather features in play, so rain will not be an issue. Maybe later in the week.
