RI Weather Today – Sept. 3, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Some lingering morning showers end around sunrise, which, by the way, we won’t see because of the clouds and rain, give way to morning fog clearing away around 9 or 10 am. Dew points will remain in the low 70’s under mostly cloudy skies, so muggy today. Afternoon highs in the low 80’s from morning lows in the low 70’s with a light southwesterly breeze. Some breaks in the cloud cover in the afternoon before clouding up again later in the evening with the approach of another cold front.
