RI Weather Today – Sept. 16, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
High pressure releases it’s tight hold and moves out to sea, and the resulting air flow will have winds out of the southwest gusting a bit in the afternoon. Wildfire haze still obscures the normally deep blue we’d expect out of such dry air, but here we are. Morning lows in the low 50’s lift to the low 70’s, and little if any cloud cover, fair weather cumulus under the milky shroud.
