RI Weather Today – Nov. 30, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
Just a mess of a Monday to close out November.
An occluded frontal system moves through with feeling, delivering a healthy dose of rain, heavy at times in the evening with branch-breaking winds gusting into the 40’s towards 50 mph in places! Rain will commence by 10 am and be most intense between the hours of 2pm and 6pm, and you can count on a few strikes and thunder rolls built in to the mix during that time. Rain should taper in the evening and finally gasp it’s last breath by 2am. Hey, it’ll be warm, though, an evening high temp in the low 60’s from a morning low in the upper 30’s.
So we’ve got that going for us, which is nice.
