RI Weather Today – Monday, July 6, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A weak frontal system moves through during the day with a widely scattered shower dotting the landscape amidst an otherwise pleasant day with decreasing humidity. Some patchy morning fog will be around with a low in the upper 60’s followed by an afternoon high in the low 80’s under partly cloudy skies with the aforementioned showers. High pressure begins to build to the north behind the frontal passage, enabling light breezes to shift to easterly while skies begin clearing.
