RI Weather Today, Monday, Dec. 23, 2019
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A pleasant start to what should be a nice Christmas Week of weather. We’ll likely reach and bust through the 50 degree mark during the afternoon, well above the normal high of 39 as southwesterly winds drive warmer air into southern New England. We’ll still have a slightly chilly morning, a low reading right around the freezing mark of 32, but this also is well above the normal low of 22.
Some early evening cloud cover may work in as a weak boundary slides through the area, but it is dry as well, so nothing expected other than the aforementioned cloudiness. Still aces!
