The spirit of Christmas – alive in this Pawtucket business
In a quiet corner of Pawtucket, the spirit of Christmas was alive and well on Sunday, when Joey “Cash” DeBarros, owner of SIK Support is Key Clothing gave out the results of his Christmas Toy Drive to community children.
From 1 to 5pm, there were free toys for children, a raffle for four bikes and 4 Play Stations, along with donuts, pizza, and hot chocolate. Plans included opportunities to meet the Pawtucket Police Therapy Dog Watson and Tracking Dog Neko as well as engaging in Touch-A-Truck with the Pawtucket Fire Department.
SIK is located at 574 Main Street. They customize clothing and items with any logo or message.
True to Joey’s statement that “My goal is to always give back and to help the people in my community,” he has supported the breast cancer mission in October and just this Thanksgiving gave away over 1,000 turkeys to local people in need. In his shop you’ll see a framed photo of Joey with the Mayor, Donald Grebien.
