RI Weather Today, Monday 3/30/20
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
One area of low pressure moves offshore followed by another upper level disturbance that will sweep in from the northwest and trigger some additional rain and the chance for some more thunderstorms late in the afternoon and evening. Cloud cover all day will prevent any added energy by limiting the daytime heating, but the dynamic nature of the system will not care too much. Another cloudy and dreary day in store, with a tight temperature range, morning lows in the low 40’s and afternoon high around 50 with light northerly breezes.
