RI Weather Today, May 28, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A fairly muggy day in store with more in the way of cloud cover that will keep temps from getting too high. A broad low pressure system west of us is throwing lots of low level moisture that will be forced northward and lead to cloud cover of different levels through the day after some early morning mist and fog. Maybe, just maybe a bit of sun in the mid afternoon, but in any event, we’ll have low in the low 60’s and an afternoon high in the mid 70’s with southwesterly winds gusting into the 20’s at times.
