RI Weather Today – June 26, 2020
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A weak trough of low pressure sets up during the morning which will be the trigger for some scattered showers to develop by midday. Anything we get will likely be passing and quick, with the best chance for rain between 1pm and 3pm. Morning lows in the upper 60’s will rise to the lower 80’s with higher humidity than we had yesterday, so a bit more of the muggies can be expected. A decent southwesterly breeze will shake things up a tiny bit so the air doesn’t just sit on you. Not a terrible day, but it could be better.
