RI Weather Today – Jan. 15, 2021
by Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
We may still get a few drops of rain before sunrise as a small upper low moves away to our east. We’ll still have a bit warmer than normal temperature range Friday, with increasing cloud cover in advance of a developing frontal system over the midwestern US. A light northeasterly breeze will be felt as temps climb from morning low around the freezing mark to afternoon highs in the low 40’s. Rain from this system should hold off until after midnight, so stay tuned for the weekend forecast!
