RI Weather Today, Friday 5/22/20
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
High pressure shifts offshore and breezes bring warmer and more humid air into the region. We’ll have plenty of sun through most of the day with afternoon high temperatures pushing 80 in some locales, up from a low in the upper 40’s. Clouds begin to collect and thicken by evening, with some overnight light rain to fall ahead of a low pressure system driving up from the mid-Atlantic that will affect us Saturday. Stay tuned!
