RI Weather Today, Friday 4/24/20
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
A storm system moving through will deposit about ¾ of an inch of rain over the area when it’s all said and done later in the afternoon/evening. A cool and raw day with rain, generally light with pockets of heavier amounts mainly during the morning hours before tapering off and the winds kick up a few notches, some gusts upwards of 30 mph. A tight and cool temperature range, morning lows in the low 40’s and afternoon highs in the mid 40’s.
