RI Weather Today, Friday 12/13/19:
By Jack Donnelly
Low pressure developing over the mid-atlantic rolls in later in the day with thickening clouds and light rain starting around 7pm, lasting through the night. Some mixing with snow is likely over the higher elevations of the Berkshires and maybe the western RI hills. The light southeasterly breezes will bring in some warmer temperatures, taking some of the edge off of the lousy forecast. In fact, we’re looking at temps in the 60’s for Saturday, but a rain-soaked day it’ll be, but that’s tomorrow’s news. Friday’s temps will range from an early low in the mid 20’s and an evening high in the mid 40’s, heading higher through the night as the warm Atlantic air is dragged in by the storm.
