RI Weather Today, Friday 11/22/19
By Jack Donnelly, meteorologist
High clouds will overspread the area and gradually lower while thickening ahead of a cold front that will move in and kick up some light rain during the afternoon. Rain should begin between 2 and 3pm and last through 6 to 7pm. Not expecting a deluge or anything like that, but what rain we get will be helped along by brisk southwesterly winds gusting to 25 mph, a touch higher in some areas. We’ll have a midnight low temperature in the upper 30’s and the air will warm as it moistens through the day to a relatively warm high in the upper 50’s.
It could be worse.
