GLIMMER GALA FEATURING REAL HOUSEWIVES OF RHODE ISLAND, CELEBRITY MENTORS, AND CHILDREN & TEENS IMPACTED BY CANCER
The third annual Glimmer Gala, benefiting Glimmer of Hope Foundation, was held on June 13th at the RI Convention Center, bringing together children and teens battling cancer, survivors, celebrity mentors, community leaders, and supporters for an evening of celebration, inspiration, and fundraising.
The event featured The Pink Carpet at 5pm, with cast members of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Rhode Island, celebrity mentors, and special guests arriving for a photo op on the Pink Carpet prior to the main event. The ladies participated in photos and interviews.
At 6:30pm, a Runway Show began with children and teens battling cancer and survivors taking to the runway alongside celebrities – the evening’s signature runway presentation.

Children and teens battling cancer and survivors from across the Northeast attended with celebrities, supporters, sponsors, families and community leaders.
ABOUT GLIMMER OF HOPE FOUNDATION:
Founded by former Miss Rhode Island Ali Hornung, Glimmer of Hope Foundation supports children and families navigating pediatric cancer through advocacy, resources, bald dolls, the annual Glimmer Gala, Best Day Ever experiences across the country, and Hope Has No Hair, Hornung’s children’s book inspired by the journey of a young girl battling leukemia.
The nonprofit organization shows girls and boys their strength and beauty through the donation of bald dolls and provides HOPE to families battling childhood cancer.
