Rhode Island Weekend Weather for Jan. 4/5, 2025 – Jack Donnelly

Saturday 1/4/25:
Low pressure over the Canadian Maritimes in conflict with high pressure over the Great Lakes will be the progenitor of some gusty west-northwesterly winds dragging wind chill temperatures kicking and screaming down into the teens at time during the day with gusts approaching 30 mph. Morning and evening lows in the mid 20’s and afternoon highs only around freezing.
Sunday 1/5/25:

Not a lot of change in the pattern for the second half of the weekend, cold and windy with partly cloudy skies. Morning lows in the mid 20’s and highs only again reaching the freezing mark with west-northwesterly winds gusting to 30 mph.
