Rhode Island Weather for June 21, 2026
Sunday, June 21 in Rhode Island looks like a warm, mostly pleasant early-summer day with a mix of sun and clouds, turning cloudier later with a chance of showers in the evening.
Morning: A mild and comfortable start with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s°F under partly cloudy skies. It will warm quickly into the mid-70s by late morning with light to moderate west winds.
Afternoon: A blend of sun and clouds with highs reaching the low-to-mid 80s°F (around 80-84°F). It will feel summery and fairly comfortable with lower humidity than earlier in the week—good for outdoor activities, though clouds will increase through the day.
Evening: Increasing clouds with a chance of showers, possibly lingering into the night. Temperatures drop into the upper 50s to low 60s°F (around 57-60°F) as conditions turn more unsettled.
Overall letter grade: A-
Strong warm and mostly dry weather through much of the day makes it excellent for Father’s Day plans or beach time, but the late-day shower risk and building clouds hold it just short of an A. Coastal areas may stay a few degrees cooler with any sea breeze.
