Rhode Island Weather for June 11, 2026
Thursday, June 11 in Rhode Island looks like a hot, humid, and hazy day with plenty of sunshine mixed with clouds and a risk of afternoon or evening thunderstorms.
Morning: Patchy fog possible early, otherwise mild to warm with temperatures starting in the mid-to-upper 60s°F under partly cloudy skies. It will warm quickly into the upper 70s to low 80s by late morning with light west winds.
Afternoon: Hot and muggy with highs climbing into the upper 80s to low 90s°F (around 90-93°F inland). Heat index values could reach the mid-90s due to high humidity. Mix of sun and clouds with a chance of pop-up showers or thunderstorms developing, especially later in the day.
Evening: Lingering clouds with a continued chance of scattered showers or thunderstorms, mainly early evening. Temperatures drop into the mid-to-upper 60s°F as winds stay light.
Strong summer heat makes it great for those who love it hot, but the high humidity, haze, and thunderstorm risk knock it down—solid for air-conditioned plans or flexible outdoor time, but not ideal for all-day beach or exertion without checking radar.
