Rhode Island Weather for June 20, 2023 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
Not a lot of difference from yesterday, High pressure keeping any significant weather out of the area. Some high cloud cover on the outskirts of low pressure over the midwest will drift in from the south and west, but no rain is expected. Afternoon highs around 70 and morning lows in the mid 50’s once again with a light southeasterly breeze.
It’s a “B+” day!

John Donnelly was born in Hialeah, Florida and moved back to Rhode Island and settled in Johnston, where he grew up until graduating from Lyndon State College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. As a child John always wanted to know how air moved, and he ran towards, not away from, thunder and lighting and various other ominous weather phenomena.
