A westerly breeze draws in some hot and humid conditions during the day, with a cold front pressing through later in the afternoon. Front may help trigger some thunderstorms in the area later in the afternoon and early evening.
High in the low 90’s and lows in the low 70’s with the westerly wind gusting to 25 mph.
A Heat Advisory is currently in effect for much of northern Rhode Island—including Providence County—from 11:00 AM today through 8:00 PM EDT
