Rhode Island Weather for January 7, 2024 – John Donnelly

Our winter storm continues with another 2 to 3 inches additional, and a storm total of 4 to 6 inches on average, higher in the usual locations to the west and north of Providence, a little less down around the bay and south coast. Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape and Islands likely to see a mix heavier on the rain side than snow side. Highs reach the mid 30’s and evening lows dip to the upper teens with a brisk northeasterly wind with gusts to 30-35 mph.
It’s a “D” day!

John Donnelly was born in Hialeah, Florida and moved back to Rhode Island and settled in Johnston, where he grew up until graduating from Lyndon State College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology.
