Rhode Island Weather for January 4, 2024 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
A weak trough of low pressure sandwiched between a cold front to the northwest and a low pressure system passing off the mid Atlantic coast moves through with the chance for some flurries during the early morning. Cloud cover persists through the afternoon, then clearing by evening. Afternoon highs reach the low 40’s with a northwesterly wind, and evening lows dip to the mid 20’s.
It’s a “C” day!
