Rhode Island Weather for January 29, 2024 – John Donnelly

Low pressure system works offshore, but return flow around from the north keep the snow showers over the area through the early morning with accumulations up to an inch generally, maybe two over the snow-prone areas to the north and west. Highs in the mid 30’s and evening lows in the low 30’s with a brisk northerly breeze gusting to 30 mph.
It’s a “D” day!

John Donnelly was born in Hialeah, Florida and moved back to Rhode Island and settled in Johnston, where he grew up until graduating from Lyndon State College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology.
