Rhode Island Weather for February 18, 2026
Morning
Expect overcast skies with temperatures in the low 20s°F. Dry air holds through the morning, but the cloud cover keeps conditions feeling colder. Light winds and muted visibility give the day a gray start.
Afternoon
Cloudy conditions persist with highs reaching the low to mid-30s°F. The atmosphere gradually moistens through the afternoon, but most areas remain dry until late day. A chilly, damp feel develops as the day progresses.
Evening & Overnight
Light rain or a rain/snow mix may develop late afternoon into evening, especially across southern and coastal areas first. As temperatures fall overnight, precipitation may mix with or change to wet snow, particularly inland and at higher elevations. Current indications suggest little to no accumulation, though untreated surfaces could become slick late at night.
It’s a “C+” day!
