Rhode Island Weather for Aug. 16, 2023 – John Donnelly
by John Donnelly, meteorologist
A residual area of low pressure branching off from the main system swings by to our south, with most of the rain over the Cape and Islands, sparing mainland RI from this batch. Clouds will be prevalent over the area, keeping high temps down but RH up. Morning lows in the low 60’s rise to a muggy high in the high 70’s with a light southeasterly breeze.
It’s a “C+” day!
