Rhode Island Weather for April 4, 2026
Morning: Skies remain heavily clouded with temperatures starting in the mid-50s°F around sunrise and gradually climbing to around 62–63°F by late morning. Light drizzle or sprinkles may occur intermittently, and humidity stays high, making it feel a bit cooler and damp for outdoor activities.

Afternoon: The high temperature reaches the low-to-mid 60s°F early on before slowly trending downward to the upper 40s°F by late afternoon as clouds persist without much clearing. Continued overcast conditions with a chance of light precipitation keep things from warming further, and winds may pick up slightly to around 10–12 mph.
Evening: Temperatures drop noticeably into the low 40s°F, settling near 40°F by late night, under persistent cloud cover with possible lingering sprinkles early in the evening. It will feel quite raw and chilly as the day winds down.
It’s a “C-” day!
