Rhode Island Weather for April 26, 2026
Rhode Island will see a mostly cloudy day with cool spring conditions and only a slight chance of light rain or showers.
Morning: Temperatures will start in the upper 30s to low 40s°F near sunrise under cloudy skies, with light winds. It will feel raw and damp, especially along the coast, but any early sprinkles should remain light and isolated.
Afternoon: Skies stay mostly cloudy with limited sunshine breaking through at times. Highs will reach the mid-50s°F, with light east or northeast winds. A slight chance of a passing shower exists, but most areas should stay dry.
Evening: Clouds persist into the night with temperatures dropping into the upper 30s to low 40s°F. A slight chance of showers may develop later, especially after dark, but winds remain light.
It’s a typical cool, gray late-April day: not terrible for outdoor errands or a walk if you’re dressed in layers, but the persistent clouds and chill limit enjoyment for extended activities. Bring a light jacket and maybe an umbrella just in case.
Overall letter grade: C+
