Rhode Island Weather for April 24, 2026
Rhode Island looks like a mostly dry but cool and cloudy spring day.
Morning: Temperatures start in the low to mid-40s°F under cloudy to overcast skies, with light winds from the north or northwest. It will feel a bit raw and damp early on, though no significant rain is expected—just a gray start that slowly warms into the upper 40s by late morning.
Afternoon: Highs reach the mid-to-upper 50s°F (possibly touching 60°F in spots), with a mix of clouds and a few breaks of sun possible. Winds remain light to moderate, keeping conditions comfortable for outdoor activities if you’re dressed in layers. Precipitation chances stay very low.
Evening: Skies remain mostly cloudy as temperatures drop through the 50s into the mid-40s by late evening. It stays dry with diminishing winds, making for a quiet, cool wrap-up to the day.
It’s not a washout and offers decent daylight for errands or light outdoor time, but the persistent cloud cover and modest temperatures keep it from feeling truly spring-like—solid but unspectacular for late April.
