Rhode Island Weather for April 23, 2026
Expect a mild and mostly dry spring day with highs climbing into the low to mid-60s°F and overnight lows dropping into the upper 30s to low 40s°F. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, with only a low chance of any precipitation. Winds will stay light, generally from the south or variable at 5-10 mph.
Morning: Temperatures start in the mid- to upper 40s°F near sunrise, warming quickly into the low 50s°F under partly cloudy skies. It will feel comfortable for late April, with light winds and dry conditions dominating early in the day.
Afternoon: Highs reach around 60-64°F with a mix of clouds and occasional sun. Any shower risk remains isolated and low, so most of the state should stay dry. Light breezes keep it from feeling too warm or chilly.
Evening: Temperatures fall steadily into the mid-40s°F by dusk, then into the upper 30s to low 40s°F overnight under partly cloudy skies. Winds lighten further, and any leftover moisture chances fade, leading to a quiet, cool night.
Overall, this looks like a solid improvement over the cooler and damper weather earlier in the week—milder temps, limited rain risk, and typical spring variability. A light jacket or layers will still be useful, especially for morning and evening, but it should feel pleasantly spring-like during the day.
