Providence Winter Recess – 7 days Grab & Go food. Pick up is today
Providence Public Schools Winter Recess is Monday through Friday, February 15 – 19, 2021. But while there will be classes, there will be still healthy food – to go.
TODAY, from 11:30am to 4:30pm, the Providence Grab & Go Pickup program will provide food free for children 18 years and under in Providence at these schools:
- Alan Shawn Feinstein Elementary School at 1450 Broad St.
- DelSesto Middle School at 152 Springfield St.
- Nathan Bishop Middle School at 101 Sessions St.
- Nathaniel Greene Middle School at 721 Chalkstone Ave.
- Gilbert Stuart Middle School at 188 Princeton Ave.
- Esek Hopkins Middle School at 480 Charles St.
- Roger Williams Middle School at 278 Thurbers Ave.
- Providence Career and Technical Academy/PCTA at 41 Fricker St.
Parents or guardians can pick up without the child present with a form of student enrollment verification. Those picking up the food are asked to be prepared to pick up a large quantity..
Food will be provided for a breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner for the 7 days of February Vacation Week.
The district will not be holding a second distribution on Friday of vacation week.
